Founded in 2009, Aventino SA was created to address the growing livestock feeding needs in Uruguay. The company started by providing high-quality locally produced grains, meeting the demands of the emerging feedlot business. As the demand for livestock feed increased, Aventino expanded its operations, importing larger volumes of grains from Argentina and Brazil to meet the needs of a rapidly growing market.
In addition to its grain operations, Aventino forged a strong partnership with PFU S.A., one of Uruguay's leading wood producers. This collaboration enabled the export of Eucalyptus Grandis and Pine to the expanding Asian markets. By 2023, Aventino had successfully launched operations in Vietnam, Thailand, and China, significantly increasing its export volumes, all while maintaining the high quality for which we are known.
